The procedure for counting inventory in Mar-Kov is as follows.
- Execute “Verify Location” for each location in your facility, or in a segmented area of the facility
- Some containers will be marked misplaced but will be found in alternate locations in which case the misplaced date will be cleared
- Other containers will be marked misplaced and will have a misplaced date at the end of this process
- Along the way, execute Adjust/Consume/Reweigh/Remeasure functions for containers to confirm the quantities remaining in those containers. (Note, this step is only executed by some companies)
- Search for any missing containers.
- Use “Write off Missing Containers” to delete any containers that could not be found.
