Your First Recipe


Percent Mode and Scaling your Recipe -->


This tutorial demonstrates how to create a new recipe. We will specify what ingredients will be used and the quantity of each that is required. We will also specify the product the recipe makes. At the end of this video we will also generate a preview batch sheet. Batch sheets created from the recipe are previews only - full batch sheets are created at the time of order entry.

Creating a recipe requires that the items (ingredients) used and item (product) that will be created be defined.

You can either define items in Recipe Manager Pro using the Item Update program, or you can import items from QuickBooks.

You can also specify your ingredients by percent rather than by weight.

Once you have specified your ingredients, you are ready to add a procedure to your recipe.
